Hello everyone, my name is Gabriella and I am the maker behind Gabriella Crochets!

I first learned to crochet back in 2023 when a friend of mine gave me a crochet jellyfish as a gift, and introduced me to the world of crochet. Once I learned about all the endless cute creations I could make, I was hooked! I spent the next year learning how to read patterns, master stitch techniques, and learn patience, as well as grow my plushie collection.

 

Before I knew it, the fall of 2024 came around. And with that, a new semester of high school began for me. My language arts teacher gave us an assignment to learn or start a project that was both meaningful and challenging for us. I chose to start a crochet business as I felt very passionate about crocheting. Plus, I would give my crochet animals a homes. During my project, I did three small craft shows which were successful!  I also received Christmas orders from family friends and started to spread the word of my small business.

 

During the year of 2025 I participated in 13 craft shows ranging from small to big shows, which gave me more experience doing craft shows. I also opened an Etsy Shop, which has since been closed. Now in 2026, I hope to continue growing my small business through in person craft fairs, social media, and my website!
